Becca and I agreed to have a quieter Christmas in terms of budget for presents this year. So we came to a consensus of $100 limit for each other and I must say, though very economically-minded, we failed at our cause. Both of us just couldn't help pampering our other half. However, we live to fight another day, and next year's resolution would be no different!
While we had grand plans for Christmas day, the heavens didn't agree with us and started raining. But that wasn't going to spoil our beloved Christmas now, was it? We had a cool indoor picnic right in the living room! The awesome part was everything we needed was just two metres away from us in any direction and when we got bored, ten steps was all it took to find the comfort of our bed and laptops. Movie screening was also available so I didn't think we did too badly at all.
When the sun did finally come out (today), we seized the opportunity to head down to Bondi beach to bask in Australia's great, world renown, undeniably harmful UV rays. As I am typing this, my body is, as Becca commented, an angry red colour. Damn it. I'm a sailor. Why do I even need a tan...
