Coming down from a major, major high is really draining.
United VS Villa at the Man U supporters' cafe at Boat Quay earlier on, cos our usual haunt The Pump Room at GWC isn't wired up with mioTV (yet).
A penalty awarded to the opponents 5min into the game really got things started, and the fans really hot under the collar. The guys were shouting and singing THROUGHOUT, and it really made for a more fun atmosphere!
Honestly I hate it when United loses, partly also because alot of adrenaline builds up in my system as the match progresses, and it becomes frustration when it amounts to goallessness. Imagine how sucky it felt when United lost to Everton (see previous entry). I always think repression of excitability is bad for the body and soul haha.
Today when the ball went into the net twice courtesy of Owen and Rooney, it was SO FANTASTIC to be able to just leap up onto our feet and yell, scream and jump around with the other United fans instead of merely cat-calling and clapping as per usual at any other location. Super-bloomin'-fabulousness!!!
I am very, very tired now. Bency extended his stay for longer than a week to play on with me during my recess week, which makes me a DAMN HAPPY lark :)))))) been holding it off for the longest time (as well as hanging on for that deadline extension, which did eventually come) but tomorrow I MUST start on and complete my 1000-word essay. It's due Tues, and I am only going to waste one of my play day on it. Only worth a lame-ass 10%. I considered not handing it in, but you know... slightly too irresponsible.
Well what can I say... the Chinese New Year break changed me :P
